Overview

The Fenggu HVAC-Integrated VHP System deeply integrates a hydrogen-peroxide sterilization unit with the existing air-conditioning plant. Using the HVAC air-circulation loop, it distributes vaporized hydrogen peroxide evenly through the target space and the ductwork itself, and the strong oxidising action of H2O2 destroys the cell membranes, proteins and nucleic acids of micro-organisms for broad-spectrum 6-log (99.999%) kill. After decontamination the residual peroxide decomposes into water and oxygen, leaving no toxic by-products. The unit connects directly to existing air-handling units without major modification, forming a closed loop through C-PVC piping.

Key Features

  • Distributes VHP through the HVAC ductwork to bio-decontaminate whole rooms and the air system
  • Flash-vaporizes 30–35% H2O2 into 3–5 μm gas particles that penetrate ductwork and HEPA filters
  • Covers over 1500 m³ per cycle; large-area decontamination in 3–8 hours, 6-log spore kill from as little as 10 minutes
  • Dry-process, low-corrosion method compatible with 400+ industrial materials
  • 12-inch industrial touchscreen with real-time monitoring of time, temperature, humidity and H2O2 concentration; PLC closed-loop concentration and residual control
  • Low-temperature process (4–80 °C), fully automatic, with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 audit-trail compliance

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an HVAC-integrated VHP system?
A fixed VHP unit that couples to your existing air-handling plant and uses the HVAC circulation loop, with a C-PVC delivery line, to distribute vaporized hydrogen peroxide evenly through a whole cleanroom suite and its ductwork.
How large a space can one cycle cover?
Coverage is more than 1500 m3 per cycle. Cycle time is about 150 minutes with aeration up to 4 hours, at VHP 150-200 ppm and 1 ppm or less residual after aeration.
Does installing it require major rework of our cleanroom?
No. It couples to the existing air-handling plant without major rework; the C-PVC piping loop carries the peroxide with the HVAC airflow to every area.
What sporicidal efficacy and control does it provide?
It is designed for a 6-log or greater reduction (subject to validation), with a 12-inch touchscreen PLC closed-loop control whose electronic records are built to support FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
What materials and operating conditions does it use?
Exterior and piping in SUS304 / SUS316L with a C-PVC delivery line; process 25-35 C and 50-60% RH; noise 75 dB or less. Overall unit 1200 x 600 x 2200 mm.
