Overview

The Fenggu Laminar Flow Pass Box is a cleanroom auxiliary device for transferring small items between clean zones, or between clean and non-clean zones, while reducing door openings and the associated contamination risk. Its stainless-steel chamber is smooth and easy to clean, with interlocked doors preventing both sides from opening at the same time.

A top-supply, bottom-return airflow pattern passes air through H14 HEPA filtration and distributes it across the chamber. The documented configuration is intended to maintain Grade B cleanliness inside the transfer chamber during operation.

Key Features

  • Top-supply, bottom-return laminar airflow pattern
  • H14 HEPA final filter with G4 pre-filter
  • Interlocked double doors to reduce cross-contamination risk
  • Integrated UV germicidal lamp and chamber lighting with separate controls
  • Filter differential-pressure display for maintenance monitoring
  • Top-access HEPA replacement and lower fan maintenance access
  • 304 stainless-steel perforated airflow distribution panel

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a laminar flow pass box different from a VHP pass box?
A laminar flow pass box uses HEPA-filtered unidirectional airflow (not hydrogen peroxide) to protect items during transfer between clean zones; it suits frequent transfer of small items where full VHP decontamination is not required.
What are its airflow specifications?
Final H14 HEPA with a G4 pre-filter, air velocity 0.38-0.57 m/s (measured 150 mm below the outlet panel), top-supply and bottom-return pattern; HEPA differential-pressure display range 0-500 Pa.
What cleanliness does the chamber maintain?
The chamber is designed to a Grade B condition; an integrated UV lamp (separately switched) and interlocked doors are included, and the stainless-steel chamber is smooth and easy to clean.
Are the doors interlocked?
Yes. An electronic door interlock is built in, so both doors cannot be opened at the same time, reducing cross-contamination from door openings.
