decontamination of bag-in\/bag-out (BIBO) HEPA filter housings before a filter change, so that contaminated filters can be handled and replaced safely. The cycle runs in four automatic steps \u2014 dehumidification, conditioning, sterilization and aeration. Built-in molecular-sieve desiccant dehumidifies the enclosure, vaporized H2O2 sterilizes the filter and housing to a 6-log kill of Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores, and a palladium catalyst decomposes residual peroxide down to \u2264 1 ppm before the housing is opened.
